Christmas: The Saga Continues.

Here we are, December 26th, my marathon Christmas is almost over. Today we head out to Mt. Pleasant in the eastern part of Ohio for the Strizak family Christmas. This is my Mom's side of the family for those that are curious. It should be a good time.

Yesterday was a pretty normal Christmas, with the exception of my brother eating leftover lasagne for breakfast. No, that will never be allowed to die. My grandparents and Aunt Mary came over for dinner and we had a great time. It was also the day my absolute favorite TV event of the year is on, Christmas with the Duke on AMC. An entire day devoted to nothing but John Wayne movies. It doesn't get any better than that.

Later on as the day was winding down I made my traditional pilgrimmage to the town of Prospect to see some good friends. My friends Dawn and Andrea, twin sisters, grew up there and we always make it a point to see each other that night. Andrea wasn't in town this year, so apparently she doesn't make it as much of a point as Dawn and I. In any event, it's always a pleasure to see Dawn.

Please join me in wishing her good luck today. She's taking Greyhound for the first time to see her boyfriend in Jamestown, NY before they fly back to NYC. I hope she makes the bus.
